Fairchild Air Force Base Youth Center

Child Development Center

The CDC on Fairchild AFB has a large and full facility for our kiddos.

Full Time and drop-in enrollment is available for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Keep in mind, sometimes there can be a lengthy wait time for an available spot.

Youth Center

Pictured Above:  This is an excellent on base resource, providing before and after school care for 1st grade through pre-teens.  They augment the curriculum of the Medical Lake School District and create a fun, thriving and safe place for our youth.  MLSD works together with the youth center for transportation and other support.

The Youth Sports program offers year-round opportunities for youth ages 3-12 to participate in informal sports & fitness as well as formalized youth sports leagues. Typical sports offered throughout the year include: Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, T-Ball, Specialty Camps, and development programs such as Start Smart (see link below for more info)

Teen Center

The Youth and Teen Center work closely with the Spokane County 4-H and the Boys and Girls Club of America to develop and empliment excellent programs for pre-teens and teens.

An idea of their daily activities includes:

 

-Homework assistance or tutoring
-Plant & animal care
-Physical activities (sports equipment available for checkout)
-Problem solving techniques
-Healthy lifestyle & choices information
-Computers, textbooks & other resource materials
