The small town of Medical Lake is located in Spokane County, WA.
The name comes from a nearby lake, which Native Americans believe held medicinal properties through the minerals in the soil.
There are many lakes within a few miles of the city, including Medical and West Medical Lakes,
Silver Lake, Clear Lake, and numerous smaller lakes south of the city.
Many activities include boating, fishing, camping and RVing, biking and hiking. The Medical Lake Loop Trail is a beautiful path around Silver Lake and great place for a picnic.
